For the suggested site in Maldives, this research paper analyzes possibility of a hybrid renewable microgrid that is dispatch strategy-governed both off-grid and on-grid scenarios. The planned microgrid’s techno-environmental-economic-power-system responses have been assessed. Both power system response study techno-environmental-economic modelled were carried out using software platforms DIgSILENT PowerFactory HOMER Pro respectively. Cycle charging (CC) technique had lowest performance for on modes, according to research, with cost energy (COE) 0.135 0.213 dollars per kWh, net present costs (NPC) 132,906 147,058 With an NPC 113,137 COE 0.166 dollars/kWh, generator order strategy operates optimally while mode.
